Liis Sild is a tech-savvy educator from Tallinn. She grew up in a bilingual household, speaking both Estonian and Russian. Since earning her degree in educational technology, Liis works as a teacher. When she noticed the lack of in-depth resources for learning Estonian, she helped create the learnestonian.org language website. In her free time she enjoys various outdoors activities as well as Estonian folk festivals. 

TANEL MÄGI

Tanel grew up in the quiet coastal town of Haapsalu, where the sound of the sea mingled with the ancient whispers of Estonian folklore. A linguist by training, Arvo was always fascinated by the intricate beauty of the Estonian language, especially its melodic rhythm. After studying Finno-Ugric languages at the University of Tartu, he worked as a translator for international organizations. Follows the development of this website as his passion project.
